Amy Allan | Zinnia Vidal

A bit about Amy

Life is truly a journey on a bizarre and many-directional path. You have to take it for what it is and simply let it ebb and flow as you relax and enjoy the ride as much as possible. I can say that on many, many occasions I have fought like you would not believe in order to make things in my life a certain way, to no avail. Every time I let go of the fight, I succeeded in becoming happy and content. There is nothing wrong with asking the whys and what ifs sometimes, as well as the occasional jump off of your path to remind you of how cool this journey really is and how you should embrace it all the more. Also, we need to remember that we are all just human!

I started my journey as a child. I saw the dead. I was confused and fearful of death, and as I grew older I began to think that I was abnormal. I began researching the supernatural when I was about eight. I started by reading books. I had no clue what was "wrong" with me until I was about eighteen, which was when I saw a medium give a reading on television. I started crying, without understanding. I just knew the why and what suddenly. I continued my studies of the paranormal and broached the subject with anyone in my life with a new-found ferocity.

I was interested in hauntings and how to perform an investigation using science, as well as in what science could/could not explain about hauntings and the paranormal experiences individuals had. In my early twenties I began to create and formulate methods of investigations and ESP research.

At the age of twenty-four I allowed Psychiatrists, Psychologists, and Parapsychologists to test me and my theories. I found that I had the ability to know things about the dead that I could not know by any of the classic five senses, that I was not abnormal, and that my theories were actually something I should proceed with.

By this time, I had acquired degrees in business and had been running a paranormal investigation business. I went back to school and studied psychology and sociology; my areas of study were abnormal psychology, biopsychology and sleep and sleep disorders.

By the time I was twenty-eight, I had created a well-known paranormal investigative group and research organization for ESP (Lost Souls Paranormal Investigations (C)TM and ASSC) and had performed hundreds of investigations, readings, and ESP subject testing.

So my path flowed until 2003, when at the age of thirty I found myself on a path that took me awhile to embrace. Since I had been comfortable just being a researcher and medium, change was hard to embrace! I began acupuncture studies and then took Zen Shiatsu, Thai yoga massage, and reflexology. All of this began to balance me in a way that I had truly needed. As a sensitive who focused only on working with dead energy, the change to working with living energy has helped me personally and spiritually, and it has also helped me truly to be able to provide the best services I can to my clients.

I have realized that I am very fortunate, that I have great guides both living and not living, that I have been able to meet wonderful people from all walks of life, and that I have been able to travel all over the world on this, my journey. I expect the journey to continue on its way, and I hope to be there for anyone who needs any guidance, healing, or help that I and my guides can provide for them on their journey. As I see it, that is what this, after all, is all about dancing around with one another on a rather remarkable quest.

Zinnia Vidal

Zinnia Vidal a native Tucsonan is happy to have relocated to Colorado; a second generation Zen Shiatsu practioner her mother introduced her to natural remedies and alternative medicine at a young age. Zinnia's mother is a Zen Shiatsu practioner and colon hydrotherapist, so, it seemed only natural to follow in her mother's footsteps. As well Zinnia enjoys all forms of bodily expression and is also a professional dancer. "Movement is to heal, to release and to express,†and that is what Zinnia does best. Zen Shiatsu is one extension that Zinnia feels expresses those values well. Zinnia has taught hip hop at the Tucson YMCA and dance classes at T.U.S.D. middle school, she also started her own dance group and traveled all over the country performing at various concerts as back up dancers. Zinnia then started her family and is the proud mother of two tots and embraced a new self expression and went to school to become a body worker, in this way she feels she can relay to her clients the need and beauty of movement and fulfillment.
